Magenn Power's Air Rotar System (MARS), made with Vectran Tethers

Magenn Power's Air Rotar System (MARS) sits 1000 feet above the earth's surface to generate electrical power fro the wind.  Vectran is the high-performance multifilament yarn spun from liquid crystal polymer, produced by Kuraray Co.,  used by Atkins & Pearce to make the tethers that hold MARS in place.
