Geary A. Jones Woven Mantis Sculpture

Weaver and artist Geary A. Jones uses textile construction techniques to create sculptures.  Here is his description that he provided for us of this work:  "MANTIS is woven of a nylon and cotton material that has been painted on both sides ( to a degree ), and white printer's canvas ( of a synthetic material that I found in a dumpster ).
