Wen Redmond's Photographic Images on Silk

In the words of Wen Redmond: "My fascination with photography is finding expression via printing directly onto fabric. I have created an innovative technique called Holographic Images. I print transparent silk organza with my digital photographs and mount these with a duplicate photograph underneath so the viewer sees a 3-D image. The borders can include hand painted fabrics and surface design. The pieces can include textural stitching as drawing lines. Inks are archival, water, light and fade resistant."
